Seasons Greetings!

Welcome to the first edition of my newsletter!

As we approach the end of 2024, I’m filled with gratitude for all of the milestones, challenges, and growth this year has brought. It’s been a year of learning, building connections, and embracing change.

In this, my first newsletter I wanted to take the opportunity to reflect on the highlights of 2024 and share an exciting glimpse into what’s ahead for 2025.

As someone that I have worked or collaborated with during the course year, I thought that you would like to receive this newsletter, but you are also free to unsubscribe (although I hope that you do stick around as there will be some exciting announcements during the course of 2025).

In the beginning…

The year started with an ending as the Wyldstyle cohort at the University of Leeds completed their six-month journey on the Scrum Mastery Pathway™ with the Adventurer workshop.

During the workshop we delved deeper into Geoff Watts RETRAINED model supporting attendees in become more Respected, Enabling, Tactful, Resourceful, Alternative, Inspiring, Nurturing, Empathic and Disruptive.

Coping with Change: The Power of the Brick

Change can be challenging, but it also unlocks opportunities for growth, creativity, and collaboration.

This year I delivered the workshop, Coping with Change: The Power of the Brick, to over 150 attendees at workshops, away-days and conferences, including Agile 2024 and Lean Agile Scotland, empowering participants to build stronger connections and thrive in the face of change.

Through hands-on LEGO® Serious Play® activities, attendees explored practical strategies for navigating uncertainty, fostering adaptability, and embracing new perspectives. Who knew that building a duck could provide so much!

Micro-Mastery

In early 2025 I, along with other Licensed Guides from the Agile Mastery Institute, will look to continue to bring 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 to the masses⁣.

This time it will take the form of '𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨-𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲'.

As Licensed Guides, we believe in the value of the 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐦 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐲™ so much, that we want to show you how transformative it can be. ⁣We are therefore taking the opportunity to deliver 𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐞-𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 chunks from Geoff Watts 𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐃 model. ⁣

I will be delivering the following five 90-minute workshops:-⁣

  • A 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 Exploration - Understanding Servant-Leadership⁣

  • A 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 Adventure - Creating a Feedback Culture⁣

  • An 𝐄𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 Adventure - Helping Yourself to Help Others

  • A 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 Adventure - Assuming More Resources⁣

  • A 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 Adventure - Navigating Conflict⁣

These workshop are ideal for emerging leaders, seasoned managers, Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, team members, or anyone who wants to deepen their ability to lead.⁣

You can find more details of the individual workshops in my '𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨-𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲' collection Evenbrite and on the Agile Mastery Institute website.⁣

𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐝 tickets are still available, along with 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 multi-workshop tickets if you would like to attend more than one of my sessions.

What the Duck?

LEGO® has played a big part in the training that we have delivered and the conferences that we have attended in 2024. 2025 is unlikely to be any different.

Keep your eyes peeled for our next duck egg-stravaganza

In fact, we are working on something special. Watch this space for more details coming in our next newsletter.

Thank you for taking time to read my first newsletter and I do hope that you stay subscribed.

Wishing you a happy and prosperous 2025.

Robin
